Just testing the new Kinja/oppo. All my posts are showing up gray when I submit, and then when I click back on an old post that I commented on, I can't even see my own post in the threads.

Give the comment a minute or two to load, then go back and check. And make sure you select "All Replies," not just "Highlights."

For some reason there's a delay between posting and seeing your post. I'm pretty sure the author gets a notification right away - or maybe not - but I've checked back even after a few minutes and my comment hasn't popped up yet. Eventually it does. Hope they fix this.

I think in my instance I was the only reply, so the highlights and all replies buttons weren't even available. It just showed zero replies. Regardless, I think you are correct that simply more time is what is needed.
